- Description
Some collectors argue that this Mercedes is the best wind-up car to come out of Germany. The winding mechanism worked well when tested. The floor lever inside the car that turns the motor on or off also functions.
This car has not been repainted or restored, and through the years, the paint could use some polish, and the grill work and metal bumpers, wheels, and headlights show some oxidation. The underside of the car is very clean but the black rubber tread located on the passenger side front wheel is separated and missing.
There are very few scratches, dings, or blemishes on this rare wind-up so the car is a great candidate for some restoration. The car is about 9 ½” in length and 3” in height. The original windshield is present and the tin litho dashboard is fully intact.
