Few remember before there was a plastic potato there was a plain Styrofoam that was used to insert the pieces that made Mr. Potato Head came alive.
This original kit appeared to have the pieces and original pamphlet needed to assemble the character. We believe that this was one of the first Potato Head kits distributed by Hasbro. Mr. Potato Head was invented in 1949 and Hasbro became the games distributor in 1952.
The box is in good condition with normal wear and some tearing on the end flaps. Overall, all graphics on the box show well.
