The box includes over 25 plastic color-tipped long cigarette holders that are 6” in length and sold for 10 cents apiece.  The theory was that the longer the cigarette was from your mouth, the healthier smoking would become.

The bubble stem literature encouraged the buyer to hook more than one stem together (they do fit together) so the cigarette could be 12” or 18” away from the smoker’s mouth.

The excellent shape enclosed point-of-sale card included the saying “How to Keep Away From Cigarettes.”  It’s easy to feel the need for healthy smoking in the 1950’s and thankfully the difference between non-healthy was defined in inches.
