Walt Disney released the movie “The Absent-Minded Professor” in 1961.  Fred MacMurray played Professor Ned Brainard who invents a substance that gains energy as it strikes the surface. This invention was called Flubber which stood for Flying Rubber.  The movie had several sequels and a remake of the original movie starring Robin Williams was released in 1997.

The toy Flubber reveals that after 60+ years, the Flubber can indeed dry out.  Regardless, the package displays the clear Flubber with pride, and the back of the package highlights many uses for the Flubber material.  This is a great and very rare toy.
