We know very little about this bear other than it is old and somewhat unique. The bear stands 8” tall and holds a branch like a baton with three metal bells attached. The tin has lost a good portion of the original paint and has the appearance of a brown bear. The painted eyes serve as a focal point to understand the bear's facial features.

When tested, the wind-up mechanism was not working. The mechanism would move the arm holding the branch with bells up and down as if the bear were marching. The bear's legs were never designed to move so the bear would have remained stationary when wound. This unique shelf piece adds age and experience to any tin collection.
