Extremely Rare Antique German Hand Painted Tin Litho Wind-Up Monkey with Fez

If you find another one of these, buy it, so we know there are at least two of these left in the universe.

This 6" long, 3-1/4" tall German manufactured tin monkey is in very good condition with all paint and coloring present and showing almost no paint loss.

The winding mechanism worked well when tested. When wound, the monkey's back legs move back and forth, propelling the monkey to crawl forward on its stiff front arms.

The yellow fez definitely predates the creation of "Arnold the monkey" that was manufactured in 1948. This is a wonderful addition to a wind-up tin litho collection that can make the collection unique.
