Hand Carved And Painted Wooden Black Boy Eating Watermelon With Little Piglet

This is truly a beautiful piece and your attention goes to lifting the piece and looking at the flat bottom to see if the piece is wood or poured plaster. The wood carving is that good and the wood grain does show on the bottom. 

The paint is excellent and there is very little scratching or nicks in the piece. The neckline has some clear glue repair where the neck and head join together.  A great 4” tall  piece for any shelf.
