John Deere Cast Iron Mechanical Bank- Blacksmith With Anvil

We believe this heavy mechanical bank was made around 1994.  The bank is 9 ½” tall and when you place a coin in the blacksmith’s tongs, you press the button by his leg and the hammer hits the coin into the sloth in the anvil. The bank was created for promotion with the slogan “Bank on John Deere Quality.”

The bank works great, is in excellent condition with the original rubber coin stop present and the only question that needs to be raised is how a mechanical bank like this is only worth $40.
