Late 1800's Gas Figurine Countertop Cigar Lighter

This beautiful 14" tall heavy cherub countertop lighter would have been found on the counters of hotel desks, saloon bars, tobacco shops and drug stores.

The lighter provided a continuous flame using a gas line connection, usually plumbed off the gas light connections. The condition of the metal and figurine is excellent. This rare piece has the original gas connection hose with a brass fitting. 

The piece is a great decoration for the home or office.
