- Description
This beautiful, mint-condition racer and box was a special edition car made in 1994, known as the Vedes "Silver Arrow" racer #8112, that was for sale at the Marklin factory museum.
The car was built to celebrate Vedes' 90th anniversary and bears the signature of Hans Herrmann (a famous race car driver who actually drove the real Mercedes prototype car in the 1950's as a member of the Mercedes-Benz racing team.) Vedes is a European trade association for manufacturers of toys and games.
The clockwork wind-up mechanism worked very well when tested with the original key. The steering wheel moves the front wheels of this 12-1/2" long car. The car has been manufactured using a beautiful, natural, shiny metal tin with visible screws.
You do not want to miss out on this rare collectible.
