We believe this beer-drinking doll was made in the 1930's. The 6-3/4" tall figure features a happy man whose head, upper body, and hands are made of hand-painted composite material holding a foamy stein of beer.

The body is mounted on a large spring coil. Pressing down on the shoulders or head causes the doll's arm holding the beer to bend up and down. The face does have some paint loss and chips near the cheeks, tongue, ears, and hat.

The original felt cloth jacket with brass-like snaps remains in excellent condition.
