This original tin litho wind-up is extremely rare and I doubt if anyone can find another working model for sale in the conventional marketplace.  The winder mechanism still works well.  When wound, the waiter moves his hips and waddles forward with the serving tray containing a bottle of soda. The toy has not been retouched and remains in its original condition.

The tin litho paint has normal wear and the metal seam has some open gapping but despite what is obvious oxidation, this tin is ready for a new owner and this unique formal waiter will serve you well. a marvelous piece of early German wind-ups. We believe the piece was made by Distler Toys located in Nuremberg but cannot confirm this fact.
