Pre-War Spanish Walt Disney Donald Duck Gunfighter

This old Spanish image of Donald Duck as a gun-toting bandit measures about 10" tall.

The doll is made of a delicate composite material similar to paper mâché with saw dust mixed in. The paint on the figure is in very good condition and the clothing does show some separation on the front of the shirt but the gap is easily covered by the Spanish blanket.

The feet pedestals are rather delicate and may soon require new glue, but the figure has no problem standing by itself. The leather bandoleer belt around Donald's waist has had some glue repair, but almost all of these rare dolls had the problem of the belt material splitting because of age.

There are not many of these Donald's around.
