President Nixon White House Tie Clip and Cufflinks and Signed Presidential Gift Card (Given as White House Gifts)

Enclosed is a special gift set that was given by President Nixon to special friends and White House guests. 

The copper-colored cuff links have an embossed face picture of President Nixon surrounded by his name, Richard Milhous Nixon and the other matching cuff link has the Presidential Seal.   

The tie clip matches the other cuff link with Nixon's face surrounded by his name.  An original, hand-signed gift card written on White House card stock that includes the embossed Presidential Seal and the words "The White House Washington" is hand signed in pen with the words "With Best Wishes" ss/Richard Nixon.  There is a small smudge below the signature line.

These are great items that can be cherished forever.  The items were acquired over a decade ago from an auction of the items owned by the estate of Eugene Charles Allen.  Mr. Allen was a famous White House presidential waiter and servant for over 34 years.  He passed in 2010 at the age of 90.  The 2013 movie titled "The Butler" was based on his wonderful life and service.  This is a great piece of history.
