Rare 1939 The Wizard Of Oz MGM Kerk Guilds Soap Characters With Box

Kerk Guilds acquired the license to produce soap characters from The Wizard of Oz movie. The box features 5 colored soap figures of Scarecrow, Tinman, Wizard, Cowardly Lion, and the Wicked Witch. Each soap is 4 ½” tall and has never been used and is in excellent condition. The colorful box displays very well and all graphics are clear with assigned tree trunk decorated compartments for each character figure. 

The clear cellophane wrapping on the box is absent and there is a minor tear in both the upper left and right bottom corners of the box. There is a very minor paint loss to the soap characters after 80 years of display. This is a wonderful piece of history and celebrates Frank Baum’s children’s novel written in 1900.
