Rare 1950’s Donald Duck Musical Merry-Go-Round Countertop Store Display

This wonderful working merry-go-round features Donald Duck with three children riding horses on the moving carousel. The piece measures about 7” in diameter and 11” tall. When the carousel is wound (just turn the carousel counterclockwise) music plays as the merry-go-round moves.

The top of the toy has a very ornate heavy tin roof. We believe the display was by Unexcelled Manufacturers in Staten Island, NY and distributed by R. Morgan Fixture Company of Charlotte, NC. The condition of the toy is excellent and there is only some very minor wear after 70+ years. I’m sure the Donald (not Trump) loved this toy.
