We were surprised when we inserted two new "D" cell batteries into the clean battery compartment of this beautiful toy bank and could not get the fortune teller to provide us with a future path to get the bank activated.
When working, the fortune teller's eyes light, the crystal ball rises from her arms, her head moves, and the appearance of a fortune card from under her dress sleeve appears.
Whether working or not, this bank is beautiful, and hopefully, a smarter person can evaluate and fix the wiring that prevents the fortune teller from predicting the future.
The bank measures 10-1/2" tall and the base is 5-3/8" wide and 6-5/8" deep. The 50% discount provides a substantial upside that should be linked to the benefits of being smarter than us.
