The box features images of Tom Corbett, Space Cadet that aired on the four major television networks from 1950-1955.  The design of this tin lunch box pioneered the way for other tin boxes.   The cover latch works well but the carry strap and one strap link is missing.

The bright red paint has substantial wear and scratches and there is no thermos in the box.  If the box had a thermos and carry strap, the box would probably be worth in excess of $300.
