This signed Stan Laurel letter is requesting some names and addresses.

The best part of this letter is the colorful Laurel and Hardy feature Productions stationery that features a colored drawing of Laurel & Hardy as the logo, with the titles Stan Laurel, President: Oliver Hardy, Vice President and Banj. W. Shipman, Secretary.  On the left side, is the address phone and cable address of the production office.

A quick glance at the logo and you know this is a great Laurel and Hardy remembrance. The letter mentions that Stan Laurel was leaving for DeVille and Normandy, France and he would pick up the names and addresses on his return to the United States.

The trip to Deville was related to the making of their last movie ever called AToll K ( also known as Robinson Crusoeland and Utopia) The Italian and French script writers for the movie were doing their work in a hotel in DeVille and when Stan Laurel arrived at the hotel, he was extremely disappointed with the script that required many revisions and rewrites before Oliver Hardy would travel to France to begin film production
