This rare German clown squeeze doll with a bisque-like hand-painted face is very delicate. The clown sits atop a drum attached to a stick with cymbals in each hand. When you squeeze the mid-section of the clown, the hands move to clap the cymbals together and the legs move to simulate beating the drum.

The doll has some cracking on the right side of the jaw and neck. The burlap clown clothing is original and there is some tearing and fraying near the legs. The clowns' wood legs, arms, and shoes are in good condition.

The paper-like drum that the clown sits on is very dry and has some peeling on the thin wood strips. This is a great toy because of the uniqueness of the old German squeeze dolls but it would be highly suggested that the toy is handled with care due to its old age and delicate nature.
