Rare Early 1950’s Hopalong Cassidy Sterling Silver Badge And Pin

The two silver pieces are well made with strong pin backs and closures. The items are in excellent condition, and we believe they have always been kept encased.  We have not seen a silver pin like this one in the marketplace.  The items have not been polished so there is some tarnish on the silver.  

William Boyd starred in the television series that ran from 1952 to 1954.  His sidekick, played by Edgar Buchanan went on to play many roles including Uncle Joe in Petticoat Junction.  In 1952, Hopalong Cassidy watches outsold Mickey Mouse watches 3 to 1.
