- Description
Russian Premier Khrushchev made a famous speech at the UN telling the United States that Russia will bury it. This 6” high Cold War Relic references the shoe-banging incident where Khrushchev removed his shoe to loudly bang on his desk to protest a speech made by the Philippine delegate. The bobblehead has printed on the podium the words “There's No Business Like Shoe Business.” Khrushchev's actions did more to perpetuate the Cold War than his predecessor Stalin.
Nikita became the most powerful politician in Russia following Stalin’s death in 1953. In 1964 the Russian assembly removed Khrushchev from power partially as a result of Kennedy winning the stand-off relating to the Cuban Missile Crisis. This bobblehead is in wonderful condition.
