This furry 10” tall acrobatic monkey performs several acrobatic tricks when you push down on the spring handle attached to the wood base. We have not seen another toy like this so are are at a loss to determine where and when it was made. The composition face would probably date this toy to the pre-1940s.

The monkey has glass eyes and the face does have some paint loss. All appendages are present and working but there has been some loss of fur that allows a viewer to see some separation in the arms and legs. This unique toy is quite unusual and worthy of a space on any monkey lover’s shelf.
