This 6-3/4" tall antique Gely German made tin is marked D.R.G.M.

The carnival clown hits the hammer onto the launch bumper, and the yellow ring rises towards the top of the pole. The hammer striking action is activated by placing the clown's foot under the lever located on the green base and then pushing the lever to release the tension.

The mechanism worked well when tested. This toy does show some oxidation and some soiling, with green paint loss on the base of the toy.

We would rate this rare piece as being in good condition.
