This 8" long string climbing man is a toy that is very difficult to locate. This tin was made by the Blechspielzeug Lineol VEB Company located in Germany, likely in 1950's.

We have only seen one other Max 709 for sale in the past. The overall condition of the toy is good, with some minor seam separation and normal paint loss from use. All colors are easily discernible.

Restringing of the toy is needed if an owner is desirous of having the toy climb to greater economic heights.
