Rare Chad Valley Co. 1947 Utbilda Sedan Wind-up

This working English made tin vehicle had the marking "By Appointment Toy Makers to H.M. the Queen" on its trunk along with the royal symbol.

When tested, the spring-loaded motor worked well and the rear wheels turned gracefully. The car is in good condition with some normal wear and some color fading. There is some small metal fatigue and splitting on each side of the hard top.

The front wheels are attached to the front axle by a small nut where the rear wheels are held on by traditional hub inserts. The spare tire is missing. The original wheels are tin litho metal and remain in very good condition. This 10" long toy should be a welcome addition to any tin car collection.
