Rare Pre-1920’s German Tin Litho Wind-Up Carousel With Boats

This tin litho clockwork toy appears to be similar in style to the Zeppelin carousel wind-up aviation dirigible toy, but instead of airships, the three revolving vehicles are that of tin litho men sitting in boots. 

The wind-up mechanism worked well when tested. The toy is in very good shape with some paint fading on the carousel's top canopy surface where the winder is located.

The boats and boatsman figures are in very good condition and the toy doesn’t show any troublesome wear after a century or more of existence. We believe this 11” tall carousel is a rare toy that will be difficult to locate elsewhere.
