Rare Tin-Letho(DRGM) Wind-Up "Jolly-Pals" Monkey on a Cart Pulled by a Pug

This extremely rare unique 8" long Walter Stock manufactured "Jolly Pals" wind-up was made in Germany around 1922 under license by the Ferdinand Strauss Corporation.

The wind-up mechanism worked very well when tested. The condition of the tin-litho, including the detailed monkey graphic wheels, the carriage, pug dog, and monkey driver, is very good, as are the branding graphics printed on many areas of the cart.

There are some minor oxidation and wear marks on the outside and inside of the rear wheels due to use.

This classic and hard-to-find tin should be welcomed into any serious collector's home as the toy is definitely priced right.
