This well-made replica of the J.E. Stevens Co. horse race mechanical bank, patented on August 15, 1871 is worthy of play.

Line up the metal lever bar attached to the two horses and twist the spring-loaded twisting black wing nut in a counterclockwise direction. When quickly releasing the wing nut, the horses are propelled around the track.

The bank requires that the coin needs to be dropped manually into the coin slot. The coin trap is present, and this heavy replica bank is in excellent condition.
