Reproduction Of 1884 Shephard Hardware Punch & Judy Mechanical Bank

This excellent condition, heavy, metal, mechanical replica Punch & Judy bank was probably made in China in the mid-1970's.

Punch and his wife Judy were characters in a traditional centuries-old live puppet show that originated in England.

To operate the bank, move Punch outward to set up the characters, place a coin in Punch's tray, press down on the small button below the rod lever and watch Judy hit Punch with a sword as Punch rotates to deposit the coin into the drop.
