Part of the Golden Record Chest Series from Simon and Schuster, the "Roy Rogers and Dale Evans Song Wagon" boxed collection was released in August of 1956 and contains eight 45rpm "unbreakable" records of Roy and Dale singing their favorite cowboy tunes.
Recorded with a chorus and orchestra conducted by Mitch Miller and featuring Western classics such as "Home on the Range" and "Cool Water", this is a worthy homage to the Old West by two musical icons.
The box and records are in excellent condition. The box measures 7-1/2" tall, 7" wide and 7" in depth.
