This sulfide features a seated gorilla that is not as centered as it should be. There are some blemishes and air bubbles on or in the marble, so we would rate this as being in good condition.
Sulphide marbles have a transparent base with a sulphide figure inserted by hand inside the marble as the glass is formed. The closer the figure is to the middle of the marble, the greater the value.
The sulfide figure inserted inside the marble has to be close to the same temperature as the hot glass or the figure will shatter due to the temperature differences.
