To promote their first Batman trading card set (Batman: Saga of the Dark Knight), SkyBox issued and gave away 50,000 of the Batman promo card as a Super Bowl XXVIII giveaway at the Georgia Dome on January 30, 1994.
Stamped with 40,040 of 50,000, this card is a unique collectible for Batman fans and true card collectors alike. The card is in excellent condition.
The full 100-card set with original artists such as Dave Dorman, Mike Mignola dn others was released later in April 1994.
To commemorate this Super Bowl, and actual ticket stub to the event is included. The Dallas Cowboys overcame a 13-6 halftime deficit to the Buffalo Bills to win 30 to 13. Emmitt Smith was the game's MVP for 132 yards in rushing and scoring two touchdowns.
