Steiff German Velvet Hand Puppet Named Froggy

Steiff made Froggy hand puppets in the 1960's.  This puppet is approximately 8 1/2" tall. The original Froggy label and made in Germany tag is present and in very good condition.

The green velvet back shows little wear, and the tan colored front panel reveals some staining near the arms and some small spots near the center. The mouth moves by placing your fingers inside of the lower lip. The coloration on the rubber hollow head, especially the bug eye, is clear but there are some small spotted of whitish discoloration on the green head resulting from fading and rubbing wear.

Froggy's are starting to become rare.
