The Greatest Show on Earth Drum with Clown Standing on Drum Anchored by Balloon

The Ringing Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus was known as the Greatest Show on Earth. This unique toy is comprised of a 1950s-themed circus 6” tin litho drum with a unique and colorful paper mâché clown.

The clown is standing on the drum and balanced by the colorful paper mâché balloon that keeps both the drum and clown upright is indeed the greatest and most unique use of a toy drum that came from the Greatest Show on Earth.

The piece looks great on any shelf or bookcase. If you are a circus or clown lover, this unique clown/drum combo will satisfy you.  There is some color wear on the clown’s striped shirt and some minor wear on the metal drum but none of the wear seriously detracts from the piece. The large clowns' feet balancing on the drum are worth the price of admission.
