Three Early 1900’s German Wood Head Puppets

These antique hand-painted carved wood head puppets feature a German soldier, a constable, and the devil. The puppet heads of the soldier and devil are in very good shape with normal wear on the face and clothing. 

Some of the stitching on the clothing has become loose. The German constable has a chip on its nose and the clothing has some separation and tearing near the neck and arm. 

The hand-painted heads of the Punch and Judy style puppets allow each puppet to be unique. The feet and hands of each puppet are present.
