U.S. Zone Germany Tin-Litho Wind-up Elephant on Tricycle with Spinner

This excellent condition tin-litho wind-up elephant is 5-1/2" in length and 8-1/4" tall.

When wound, the tricycle moves as the riding elephant spins the spinner. The original spinner had three tin tear-drop like opening covers attached to the spinning device. These covers are missing and colored ribbon was inserted into the cover holes causing the tin spinner to resemble a spinning plate.

The wind-up mechanism worked very well when tested. For the price, you should take this well-made tin toy for a spin.
