Unique Reuge Music Box with Wooden Grand Piano, Cartoon Pianist & Singer

This music box was probably handmade about sixty years ago.

The cartoon tux and tails piano player and accompanying singer are unique and have similar combined features and appearance to various Schoenhut doll characters. Each figure has music sheets before it.

The piano, characters, and platform are in very good condition, including the composite faces, clothing, wood piano, stage top, base, and music sheets. The winder for the music box is at the bottom of the box, and it appears the music box needs to be replaced.

Fortunately, Reuge music box replacements are available on many websites, including eBay. This is a unique piece for any collector, and the price reflects the need for a new music mechanism replacement.
