This original scroll box features seven hand-inked scenes of black singers and dancers performing in a theater. Turn the knobs on each side of the box to advance or reverse  the scenes featuring different performers.

The colorful Ink paper scenes are mounted on the original cloth scrolling material. The original black-painted card box-like boxes is in good condition except for a missing piece of a red cellophane along the top viewing window of the box.

Each inked scene contains a top and side curtain so the missing cellophane has little impact on the appearance of the scenes. This piece measures 8” in height, 7 ½” in length, and 3 ¼” in width. There is a cord to hang the piece on a wall.
