This one-of-a-kind standing pig puppet/marionette was hand-painted by the wife of Harold Tarpley. This striking puppet measures 18” in height. His very unusual head, hoofs, and feet were hand-carved from wood. The pig's body is constructed of wood, cloth and wire and the clothing is reminiscent of a French sailor's outfit.

The white cotton trousers and blousy horizontal striped seersucker shirt with a blue turtleneck are in wonderful condition. The velvet French beret tops this pig off in a fun manner. The design of the pig's snout, mouth, ears, and eyes will surely make you grateful to own this rare but important puppet. (Comes with stand)
