Very Rare 1930’s German Made 12 Bisque Nodders Cartoon Characters In Original Box

The set of 12 bisque characters are like new and in the original presentation box with the label “Famous Cartoon Characters- From The Funnies.” The hand-painted characters include Uncle Walt, Skeezix, Rachel, Kapy, Moon Mullins, Orphan Annie, Andy Gump, Chester, Ching Chow, Smitty, Herby and Sandy the Dog. 

The box is in very good condition with a little fraying on the edges and a tear in the bottom middle of the name banner. Each bisque doll is held securely in the box by the original elastic cords. This is a wonderful and colorful example of a rare set of important figurines.
