Very Rare 1950's U.S. Zone German S&G Tin Wind-Up Clockwork Car with Forward & Reverse Gear

This great German tin wind-up car is 11" in length. The car has push and pull rods extending from the rear of the chassis that control the spring drive mechanism to propel the car forward or in reverse or to a stop. 

The wind-up mechanism worked well when tested. All wheels, hubs, body paint and metal are in excellent condition with only some minor oxidation on the lower front bumper.

The front wheels do turn. A Schuco wind-up key that fits the winding mechanism is enclosed with this item.
