The puppet has a flawless rubber head and face and the clothing is like new. The hand, legs, and shoes are in excellent condition.
Rootie Kazootie was a boy puppet that was very interested in sports (hence the baseball cap and striped clothing) and played the “Magic Kazootie” which was a Kazoo. As the song goes, “Who is the boy who is full of zip and joy? He’s a Rootie Kazookie.”
At its height, between 2 to 3 million children a week listened to the program. This great toy is truly special.
