We have not seen another dancer like this one. The wood-black dancer is dressed in ornate African clothing. Underneath the red ceiling fringe of the curved oak stage top is an old solid balance wheel/spring wind-up mechanism that moves the dancer.

When tested, the wind-up mechanism worked very well and the key is included with the item. The dancer's feet, arms, and body move on the cushioned blue fabric stage with a metal brocade band.

The stage, dancer, and fabric are in wonderful condition. There is only one slight spot on the rear of the stage floor where some fabric is missing. The toy measures 9” tall and is only 4 ¾” deep. This dance is truly unique and will add originality and class to any collector's shelf.
