Vintage 1930’s J. Chein Tin Litho Wind-Up Native Riding A Turtle

This classic Chein toy is in good condition.  There is some oxidation and wear on the turtle's front shell and some paint loss on the turtle’s neck and head.  The wind-up mechanism worked well when tested. When wound, the turtle's hidden wheels move the toy forward, the neck moves sideways, and the native boy bounces up and down.

The string-like reins that attach to the native boy's hands and the turtle’s mouth are missing but the metal tabs that hold the string in place are present
