Vintage Ceramic Mammy Wash Women Cookie Jar

This 11" tall, delicate ceramic jar features a black woman wearing a white and blue dress with polka dots on her head scarf and on the bottom of her dress.

There are no cracks on the ceramic, but there is some colored glazing loss on her arms, wash bucket, base and above her right eyebrow. There is very little loss of any glazing colors on the backside of the jar.

Where the colored glazing is missing, the white glazing that was under the pigment shows fine.
