England-Made Tin Litho Wind-Up Mechanical Monkey On Railroad Hand Cart

This rare vintage wind-up tin toy is in excellent condition. The wind-up mechanism with a new replacement key worked very well when tested. The metal wheels, axles, and hubs move with ease when wound. The monkey moves the pushcart handle back and forth as the wheels propel the cart forward. 

The tin litho has very few scratches or marks but there is some minor oxidation on the yellow paint due to age.  This toy was likely manufactured as a challenge to the German windup tins made by the Lehmann Toy.  You will not find this toy in many places.
