- Description
This tin litho handheld controller and USAF fighter jet uses two "D" batteries to enable the controller to move the aircraft attached by a rotating hub and rod around in circles.
The toy worked well when tested and the battery compartment is clean. The machine gun sound when the trigger was pressed is working; but, the light in the plane's red nose cone did not work and is probably in need of a bulb replacement.
The tin litho is in excellent condition and the box is in very good condition with all panel graphics showing, although some fading and a corner tear on the end flap is evident. When assembled, the toy is about 10-1/2" tall.
Working examples of this early 1960's toy are somewhat hard to find.
