Vintage Tin Litho Wind-Up Monkey Train Car with Box

This Japanese wind-up is in exceptional condition with the winding mechanism working perfectly.

When wound, the train moves forward, a bell rings and the train conductor raises and lowers his flag. The box is in very good condition.

For the money, this is a great toy that reveals how the Japanese sought to dominate tin wind-ups in the 1950s and 1960s by introducing lower-priced mechanicals.
