Vintage Walking Dog Boxer Cloth Covered Tin Wind-Up

This plush-covered tin wind-up was probably made in Japan. The dog is a cartoon character and the face is very special with a painted tin plate nose, cheeks and mouth mounted under the dog's sad eyes.

The toy is in very good condition and the wind-up mechanism worked well when tested. When wound, the dog hops along a flat surface. His hands are covered with two cloth boxing gloves and the blue boxing shorts are in excellent shape. The toy is about 5 ½” tall.
